About the project
We installed shelf lighting for the wooden bookcase in an office. An LED strip is fitted at the front of each shelf, hidden from view, so the light illuminates the shelves and the wooden back panel without shining into the eyes.
What shelf lighting brings
- **A warm, elegant atmosphere:** Warm white light brings out the colour and texture of the wood and gives the office an inviting look.
- **Indirect, glare-free light:** The LEDs sit behind the shelf edge, so there is no glare.
- **Low energy use:** LED strips use far less energy than conventional lighting and last a long time.
- **Clean workmanship:** Cables and the driver are concealed inside the furniture, so no wiring is visible.
